It’s time to feel like yourself again — not just the role you play.

I work with both couples and individuals (age 18+), specifically those who have experienced trauma or attachment struggles throughout their life. I specialize in working with first responders and military members, but I support clients across all careers and lifestyles that are ready to confront the cycles and patterns that are no longer working for them. Most of my clients are tired of feeling shut down, emotionally disconnected from others, constantly on edge, or emotionally hyper-reactive. You might feel like you have tried everything — or maybe you haven’t tried anything yet — but you’re stuck, unsure of where to go next. I love working with those who have tried therapy before but felt they spent their entire time venting without making real progress. I also enjoy working with clients who have never tried therapy before and may be unsure of what to expect from this process.

Many of my clients — whether a first responder, military member, or anyone else experiencing the impact of trauma on their day-to-day life — feel there is no space within their career or family life to slow down and be open with themselves or others. They may often feel they need to present a strong front and manage chaos — but internally this ends in feeling shut down, constantly on edge, or both. My hope is to provide a space for you, outside of the expectations of relationships or careers, to intentionally reshape the patterns that are no longer serving you.

Relationships and intimacy are often where unresolved trauma shows up the loudest. Partners often come to me feeling disconnected, stuck in the same arguments, emotionally distant, or completely out of sync. Sometimes it’s betrayal or conflict; sometimes it’s shut-down emotional systems; sometimes it’s mismatched desire, or difficulty feeling safe in your body. We work with the body, attachment patterns, and parts of you that learned how to protect you long before your partner ever showed up.

I’ll meet you where you are — but I won’t let you stay stuck there.

When I show up as a therapist, I’m not a detached observer. I’m engaged, present, and authentic. I bring my own humor, personality, and deep respect for you and this work into the room. My hope is to provide a space where you can also show up as your full and real self as well, whether that means bringing your personal brand of humor, sarcasm, or any other elements that make up who you are.

I have a deep respect for all of my clients and take this work seriously. I will respect your pace while also challenging your avoidance or desire to stay in the venting. I work best with people who want depth, not a quick Band-Aid, and are open to exploring new ways of "doing" therapy.

My approach is relational, and primarily somatic. I use EMDR, brainspotting, and IFS informed parts work — as well as relational methods like Gottman and Imago. My goal is to provide a space of safety for your body to process and feel all the parts that may have been repressed or shoved down for many years.

While there can be space for self-awareness and psychoanalyzing, my focus, when you're ready, will be spent on a deeper level, experiencing where your body lost safety and connection. I practice from the belief that therapy is a shared endeavor. I promise to show up fully, and I invite you into that same level of honesty and authenticity, at whatever pace feels right to you.
