Hi! I’m Kristin, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified First Responder Counselor. Prior to beginning my career in the mental health field, I spent 6 years in law enforcement. I am extremely passionate about helping first responders, and their spouses, navigate the challenges associated with the demands of the profession. Based on my lived experience, and additional trainings, I truly understand the unique challenges first responders face on a daily basis.

I  take a collaborative and client-centered approach to therapy. I provide a safe and non-judgmental space for each of my clients to feel validated and supported. With that being said, I am not the therapist to sit back quietly. I am direct and I challenge my clients to engage in the self-reflection necessary to see real change in their lives.

I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with empathy and understanding. Before transitioning to this career in mental health, I spent 12 years in the wellness industry, where I developed a strong foundation in helping people achieve personal growth, well-being, and resilience. My background in fitness and nutrition allows me to bring a holistic approach to the therapy room—understanding the deep connection between mind and body.

My approach is client-centered and individualized, always ensuring that each therapeutic plan is tailored to the unique needs and goals of my clients. I offer a safe, empathetic space where clients can explore the “messy” parts of life—those moments of struggle, uncertainty, and change. In my free time, I enjoy staying active and exploring outdoor activities, as well as continuing my personal journey of growth and learning.

As a counselor, my goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel seen, heard, and supported. I believe that healing begins with a strong therapeutic relationship, grounded in trust, compassion, and collaboration. Whether you're navigating anxiety, relational struggles, or feeling overwhelmed by life’s challenges, I’m here to walk alongside you with empathy and curiosity.

I aim to help individuals explore patterns in their relationships, both with others and themselves, while working to reduce anxiety and increase self-awareness. I  am also passionate about supporting clients who are healing from religious trauma or navigating a journey of religious deconstruction. I offer a nonjudgmental space to process the harm, confusion, and identity shifts that can come from questioning or leaving faith traditions. I help clients reconnect with their own values, voice, and sense of self. Together, we’ll identify what’s getting in the way of your growth and develop tools to move toward greater clarity, connection, and emotional balance.
